Saffron is a very valuable plant that has long been used in various sectors of the economy, and its importance is growing. Saffron contains carbohydrates, proteins, water, carotenoids, flavonoids, vitamins and inorganic substances. In the research we are going to cover in this article, we used a spectrophotometric method to determine the total amount of flavonoids in an extract made from saffron flowers.
