The article highlights the situation related to the activities of sports managers in our country, as well as modern problems in the training of sports managers and ways to solve them. A methodology has been developed for developing competencies related to the professional activities of a sports manager among graduates of physical education and sports universities. The author has improved the professiogram, which is the basis for the formation of professional competence of a sports manager.
