The article provides data on the species composition of insect pests in the salix forest of the Southern Aral Sea region. As a result of our research, 29 species were registered, belonging to 5 orders: Homoptera - 2, Heteroptera - 1, Coleop- tera or beetles - 10, Diptera - 1, Lepidoptera - 15 species.
