Annotatsiya

The article highlights the growth, development and yield of cotton (c/ha), after plowing 3 years of alfalfa standing in the conditions of a typically gray-earth soil of the Vakhsh valley of Tajikistan. The irrigation rate averaged 688 m3/ha, the actual irrigation rate was 4125 m3/ha. Aftereffect, the growth of the main stem of cotton and other indicators amounted to 98.5 cm, sympodial branches 14.6 pcs.; 11.5 and 5.1 pieces, respectively, where the yield of raw cotton in the average of 4 repeated was 38.0 c/ha, with additions of 6 c/ha from the irrigation regime and 3.0 c/ha from the applied norms of mineral fertilizers Keywords: yield, alfalfa, cotton, soil, typical chernozem, irrigation rate, mineral fertilizers
