The article deals with principles of sovereignty of the Karakalpakstan Republic. The special attention is given to the problem of the Aral Sea coast by the government of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan. The republic of Karakalpakstan consisting of Uzbekistan is independently carried out the legislative regulation order of realization the constitutional rights, freedom and duties of citizens. The Republic of Karakalpakstan may determine the main law of the constitution and the law of the Republic of Karakalpakstan as well as amendments in the country's territory. All citizens and nationalities living in the Karakalpakstan Republic has equal rights and provides the development of their native language.
