This article analyzes the role of verbal and nonverbal communication in the linguistic landscape of the world using the example of sports. The main goal of the study is to determine how the two types of communication are manifested in the sports process. The article examines the use of verbal and nonverbal means in sports such as football and basketball. As a result, the interrelation and effectiveness of these types of communication are substantiated.
