Annotatsiya

The article discusses the importance of the role and significance of the civilizational approach in developing a strategy for sociological research, and also explains that the differences in conducting research on the social stratification of society in Western and Eastern sociology reflect precisely civilizational approaches. In addition, the concepts of civilization of Western scientists Shmuel Eisenstadt, Arnold Toynbee, Pitirim Sorokin, Samuel Huntington and Francis Fukuyama are analyzed. Among the eastern thinkers, Abu Raikhan Beruni, Abu Nasr Farabi, Ibn Khaldun comprehensively examined almost all the main problems of modern general and special sociology in the conditions of nomadic and civilized societies, and their teachings have a great importance even now.
