The article discusses the objective necessity of addressing a number of environmental problems and their painful consequences caused by environmental degradation worldwide. It emphasizes the importance of one of the key directions in fulfilling these tasks – ensuring the national economy’s sectors and industries with renewable energy sources and highlights the advantages of such an approach.
