From a medical standpoint, sustainable livestock practices are of particular importance: they help prevent zoonotic diseases, ensure the production of environmentally friendly and high-quality food products, and improve public health. Thus, innovation-oriented approaches provide not only enhanced economic efficiency in desert-pasture livestock farming but also the maintenance of ecological balance and the strengthening of public health, making them an integral element of the sustainable development of rural areas.
