Mazkur maqolada barqaror qishloq xo‘jaligini rivojlantirishning nazariy asoslari ilmiy jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqotda barqaror rivojlanish konsepsiyasi, uning qishloq xo‘jaligiga tatbiqi, ekologik, iqtisodiy va ijtimoiy komponentlarning o‘zaro bog‘liqligi yoritilgan. Shuningdek, xorijiy va mahalliy olimlarning ilmiy qarashlari asosida barqaror qishloq xo‘jaligini ta’minlash mexanizmlari umumlashtirilgan. Tadqiqot natijalariga ko‘ra, innovatsion texnologiyalarni joriy etish, resurslardan oqilona foydalanish hamda institutsional islohotlar barqaror qishloq xo‘jaligining muhim omillari ekanligi asoslab berilgan.
