A migraine is a recurrent type of headache that causes moderate to severe pain, usually accompanied on one side of the head. In addition, other symptoms join, such as nausea and weakness, sensitivity to light and sound[1]. The purpose of this literature review is to focus on the specificity, clinical and biochemical, diagnostic and differential diagnostic features of basilar migraine. The material served as the data of scientists, which were compared with each other, in addition, this article takes into account the risk group, the results of epidemiological studies in recent years.The literature review includes recommendations and suggestions for diagnosis, prevention and treatment in patients with basilar migraine
