The article introduces methods enabling the comparative assessment of the physical development, functional state, and health diagnostics of schoolchildren aged 15-16 years. Systematic sports activities, especially handball and football, have significantly impacted the physical development and adaptive capabilities of schoolchildren, thereby contributing to health preservation and enhancement. The health diagnosis methodology developed by G.L. Apanasenko has enabled the identification of students with varying levels of adaptive capabilities, indicative of their health status. Implementing this technique, particularly in widespread school examinations, will enhance the efficiency of monitoring schoolchildren's health.
