This article discusses the transformation of the phenomenon of the great commander Sahibkiran Amir Temur into written literature. They discussed historical and literary works about Amir Temur, as well as the history and reasons for the creation of "Temurnoma." We see that the transformation of the image of Amir Temur into written sources began with the historical works of Sahibqiran of his time, and in later periods - with literary works. The search for these books and providing them to a wide circle of readers with the help of textual research is one of the most urgent tasks facing our textology. This article is a comparative study of historical works, chronicles, diaries of ambassadors and “Temurnoma” about Amir Temur, and also discusses their genre features, similarities and differences.
