In this article, in the traditional lifestyle of Uzbeks, water is the source of vitality and life, ancient myths about water, views related to the place of legends, customs and ceremonies based on historical materials and field notes. In addition, the formation of animal cults related to water, the customs of making sacrifices to various waters are shown.
