Данная статья посвящена сравнительно-типологическому исследованию концепции времени в английском и узбекском языках, а также сравнительному анализу теоретических и практических аспектов. Он также ориентирован на изучение теоретических основ выявления общих и частных традиций языкового развития.Изучены связь времени с состоянием речи, решение временных проблем, различия и сходства во влиянии природных явлений и религиозных взглядов на лингвистическую концептуализацию времени в английской и узбекской лингвокультуре, а также этнолингвистические особенности концепции времени в негенетически несвязанных английском и узбекском языках, их фразеология, этносемантические аспекты выражения в метафорах.
