This article analyzes socio-cultural activity as an integrative and multifunctional sphere of activity. Socio-cultural activity is an important element of the life of society and performs such tasks as preserving and developing cultural values, strengthening cooperation between social groups and strata, ensuring stability in society. This sphere of activity also has educational, communicative and aesthetic functions and through their integration has a positive impact on the cultural development of society. The article describes the relationship between these functions and their importance in society.
