Maqolada 1920-yilda Turkiston ASSRda o‘tkazilgan aholini ro‘yxatga olish tadbiri va undan ko‘zlangan iqtisodiy masalalar yoritilgan. Shuningdek, mazkur yilda Markaziy Statistika Boshqarmasi tomonidan hududlar kesimida aholi ro‘yxati shakllantirilgani hamda bu tadbirning yakuniy natijalari birlamchi statistik manbalar asosida atroflicha tahlil etilgan. Maqolada ushbu tadbir natijasiga asoslangan holda, kelgusi yillarda o‘lkadagi ijtimoiy-iqtisodiy va siyosiy ishlar rejalashtirilgani to‘g‘risida so‘z boradi.
