This article analyzes, through a historiographical perspective, the role and significance of works produced by English-speaking authors of the 18th–19th centuries, as well as those of contemporary researchers, in the study of the political and socio-economic history of the Bukhara Emirate. The paper scientifically examines the process of the widespread dissemination and popularization of information about the Bukhara Emirate in European countries through English-language sources. Special attention is given to the representation of the history of the Bukhara Emirate in Western historiography, the content-specific features of these works, and the process of the formation of historical narratives.
