The article scientifically analyzes the historical and cultural interrelation between religious beliefs and ecological culture. It emphasizes the role of animism, totemism, and nature worship, which emerged in the early stages of human development, in shaping ecological awareness and ethical norms. Special attention is given to Khorezm water rituals and the cult of Umay Ana as significant manifestations of ecological culture. Furthermore, the article explores the relationship between Turkic mythology, ancient rituals, and modern ecological values from an academic perspective.
