Shunga qaramay, tilda bu hodisaning mavjudligini belgilash, maxsus sintaktik kategoriya sifatida ajratish va asoslash tilshunoslikda gap shaklidagi kiritmalar bilan bog‘liq holda olib borilgan. Ma‘lumki, so‘z va so‘z birikmalari shaklidagi kiritmalar nutqda kiritma gaplarga nisbatan kamroq uchraydi. Ushbu maqolada ingliz va o‘zbek tillaridagi so‘z kiritmalar, ularning turlari va sintaktik xususiyatlari tahlil qilinadi.
