Proverbs and sayings are the spiritual property not only of a nation, but of all mankind. It is desirable to study them comparatively not only in Russian and Uzbek, but also in many other languages. Also, their wide use and teaching in the educational process, first of all, starting with similar proverbs, sayings and expressions, will lead to further increase of interest and passion for the language being studied in foreign language students.
