The article is devoted to the analysis of the genres of Russian children's literature intended for audiences under 15-16 years old. Children's literature performs important educational and educational functions through artistic images, and its material embodiment is reflected in children's books. The main goal of this study is to explore the genre diversity of children's literature, which allows us to more deeply understand its structure and features, as well as the ways it influences young readers.
