By adaptation to the service, we understand the establishment of active and harmonious interaction between the newly appointed employee and the professional environment, which involves the personal development of his mental activity and behavior in accordance with the rules and requirements of the working environment. Adaptation of women to public services is a multifaceted process, the study of which is of great importance today in determining the elements of active “career growth” of women. The high neuropsychic stress, multifaceted tasks and lack of time inherent in the civil service place high demands on the employee’s flexible resources. In this regard, the study of the psychological characteristics of the new generation of public service employees is determined by the need to understand their innovative qualities in order to strengthen and maintain the personnel potential of public services and effectively use financial opportunities. The article analyzes the results of empirical research on this problem
