This article presents the analysis of the development of control law adaptation algorithms. The article proposes an approach to the development of control law adaptation algorithms based on the use of systematic analysis and optimization methods. The article also discusses the advantages and limitations of different methods of adapting control laws. An adaptive control algorithm is proposed to provide the necessary quality indicator to the control system of thermal power facilities under conditions of uncertainty and to give it the property of adaptability and invariance, which allows to compensate for external and internal disturbances and improve the quality indicators of the control process.
