The article deals with the problem of environmental risk and environmental safety in the context of globalization. The influence and consequences of the phenomenon of globalization on the global ecosystem are analyzed. The scientific and philosophical content of the concepts of safety and risk in the ecological context is analyzed. The main factors that characterize the environmental risk, and directions for their elimination, socio-philosophical aspects of environmental risk assessment are highlighted.
