In the article, from the point of view of the diachrony of reality and fiction in the comic, the features of being are analyzed due to the need to critically comprehend, by creatively modeling, reality; the mechanism of this discourse is presented. The specificity of the antinomy of reality and fiction in the comic is considered from the standpoint of its transgression, while the comic is transcribed as a regulatory idea. The associativity of the comic, as its most important attribute, is defined in the synthesis with the disclosure of the causal relationships of reality – deformed and extremely existential – at the same time re-interpreting reality through its aestheticization. This coherence, from a certain angle, contains the essential concept of the comic. In the perception, forms of disclosure and depiction of the comic, the philosophical and cultural ideal, which has a humanistic character, is directly or indirectly manifested. Laughter, which characterizes the light nature of man and humanity, is the laughter in the name of the ideal. The article shows the importance of the comic in the processes of humanization of reality in the aspect of factors immanent to it: striving for the ideal, a high degree of criticality, social activity, creativity, aesthetic imagery, metaphor, etc., aimed at overcoming the stereotypes of understanding life – both in the human mind and the scale of development of society, civilization as a whole. The problem, which reflects the dynamics of these explications through the prism of the comic, carries information about their dialectical understanding. On the basis of intentional analysis, taking into account the available research, the conclusion follows that the comic must be interpreted in the context of the multifaceted nature of being, which largely determines being. The comic symbolizes life, becoming the art of living, not only as a result of being conditioned by life, but being its integral system-forming principle.
