В статье на основе функционального и структурного подхода раскрыта сущность понятий «конкуренция» и «конкурентоспособность». Проведен научно-теоретический анализ природы этих понятий. В результате анализа научно обоснована необходимость рассмотрения понятия конкурентоспособности на микро-, мезо- и макроуровнях.
