Alisher Navai has a special importance in the history of Turkish language with his successful activities and works. Thanks to his contributions, Turkish has almost become a literary language. Because the stability of the language was ensured on the basis of the principles it set, and the Turkish peoples were united around a single language again. The works of the poet were read with love all over the Turkish world, and their copies were multiplied and distributed in different regions. It is known that during the poet's lifetime, his poems were transferred to other languages and dialects as well as adapted to some dialects. Followers of the Navai language wrote poems like him and imitated him. In this state, the Navai language and style lived for a long time in different regions where Turkish peoples lived. While Turkic peoples who speak Oghuz can get to know Navai’s works closely, read and understand them directly from the original, sometimes some studies have been carried out in the field of Western Turkishness to better understand them. In the study, such activities are divided into 4 parts: 1) Preparation of Oghuz dictionaries; 2) Translations into Oghuz; 3) Adaptation to Oghuz; 4) Showing Oghuz equivalents side by side. As a result, in this study, Chagatai-Oghuz dictionaries and small vocabulary lists that are known until today are discussed. In addition, 3 works which completely translated to Oghuz, the copies of the Navai works that were adapted to Oghuz or given their explanations in Oghuz language were emphasized. By showing examples of copies with their Oghuz equivalents and explanations, the importance of such copies for historical comparative language studies is emphasized.
