The article describes the author's analysis of the subjective signs of crimes related to the use and protection of land. The author also notes that the subjective side of crimes in the field of ecology is a complex form of guilt, established by Article 23 of the current Criminal Code. This form of guilt is expressed both in revenge and carelessness, and in the form of guilt in relation to the consequences that have arisen, it is expressed only in the words of the person who committed the crime. Motives for committing a crime do not affect liability, which can lead to various forms of guilt. At the end of the analysis of the subjective signs of crimes related to the use and protection of land, the author argues for the expediency of establishing criminal liability for this crime, as well as for the act provided for in Article 229 of the Criminal Code (violation of the procedure for granting land plots), when the age of the offender is 18 years.
