Existence and related issues are always in the focus of scientists. The reason is the peculiarities of being and the existence of its various forms. Virtuality is one such form. We often come across the term virtuality in science today. So, this concept is relevant both in philosophy and in other areas. In this regard, there is a need to study the meaning of the concept of virtuality and its roots. This article presents the etymology of the term virtuality and its meaning in modern science.
