The article presents research data on the use of virtual reality (VR) technologies in the study of cardiology. The relevance of the study is due to the growing interest in the use of VR technologies in the educational process. More and more educational content for virtual environments appears on the market, many organizations are gradually integrating VR technologies into the study of various subjects. The purpose of the study is to study the adoption and use of virtual reality technologies in medical education, to study the effectiveness of the use of the «Complete anatomy» program on student performance. It is noted that educational virtual reality platforms focus on interactive learning and reduce the gap between the acquisition of practical experience and the knowledge of the student, while uniting students around the world. The significant correlation between students' performance when using VR technology had a positive impact on academic growth. Our study found that students in the VR implementation group performed better academically with strong statistical significance in terms of their final results according to independent t-test results and one-dimensional analysis.
