Annotatsiya

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving procedure performed on individuals experiencing a cardiac arrest, where the heart ceases to pump blood effectively. By utilizing CPR, vital organs, such as the brain, continue to receive oxygen-rich blood. The immediate initiation of CPR and further advanced care can double or triple the chances of survival following a cardiac arrest. However, "hands-only" CPR is acceptable when the arrest takes place outside of a hospital, as it has been shown to be as effective as traditional CPR during that time. Unfortunately, there is a lack of knowledge about CPR and its importance, as there is an unwillingness by some to act, due to a fear of causing harm. [1]
