The article considers the optimization of operating modes of controlled electric drives, improving the efficiency of electromechanical equipment of pumping units, theoretically substantiating optimal operating modes, and applying energy-saving algorithms. The gradient method, optimal active power distribution, equipment selection, and nonlinear optimization problems subject to constraints are investigated.
