In the fishery sector, efficiency indicators are of great importance for the analysis of production costs and profits. Therefore, this article gives information about the composition of the category “Economic efficiency”, classification of effectiveness by features and classification of factors affecting the efficiency of fish farming. In addition, this article highlights state support directions for fish farming as well as conclusions and proposals for studying the economic efficiency of fish farming.
