his article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of developing leadership competencies of female students in higher education institutions. In the modern higher education system, the development of social activity, independent decision-making, initiative, communicative skills, team management, and social responsibility of female students is considered one of the important pedagogical tasks. The article identifies the motivational-value, cognitive, communicative, organizational-managerial, socio-emotional and reflexive components of leadership competence and highlights the pedagogical possibilities of their development.
