Bushuyev qoramol zotining molekulyar-genetik xususiyatlari va genetik pasportini yaratish

This article presents the results of molecular genetic studies of the Uzbek dairy Bushuevskaya cattle breed, which is critically endangered, as part of the research and development project «Development of Molecular Panels for Genetic Certification of Unique Animal Breeds.» The project was implemented with the aim of preserving the valuable gene pool of the Bushuevskaya breed and genetic certification of animals. The molecular genetic studies utilized microsatellite DNA markers (short tandem repeats (STR), SNP, and InDel markers). The study was conducted on farms raising Bushuevskaya cattle (at the Naslchilik Research and Production Center), on sires used for semen selection, and on other groups of animals of this breed. Genetic data on Bushuevskaya cattle were first entered into the international database of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in the United States. Based on the results of molecular genetic studies, a genetic passport for the Bushuevskaya breed was developed for the first time.
