Pathomorphosis - one of the most important prognostic factors for breast cancer. The article gives the notion of pathomorphism and its variants. The results of neoadjuvant treatment depending on pathomorphism. The interrelation between particular characteristics of breast cancer and the severity pathomorphism. This makes it possible to specify in each case the degree of tumor progression, appropriately choosing treatments and correctly assess the prognosis.
