This article examines the processes involved in the preservation, study, and promotion of cultural heritage sites within the Samarkand State Museum- Reserve in the context of museum tourism development. Particular attention is paid to key challenges and priorities of museum tourism, including the analysis of visitor needs, seasonal patterns, service planning, and revenue generation. The study highlights the role of the museum-reserve in enhancing the attractiveness of cultural heritage and contributing to the development of tourism.
