This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of pressing issues and existing problems regarding prosecutorial supervision over compliance with legislation in the forestry sector. It examines the specifics of applying the powers of prosecutor's office bodies to prevent and eliminate violations in the system, while highlighting shortcomings in interagency cooperation with relevant responsible authorities. Based on the study results, logically grounded scientific and practical recommendations aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of supervision and strengthening the rule of law are proposed.
