The article explores the potential of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies in the context of developing literary tourism in Uzbekistan.It presents a project aimed at creating a digital resource that comprehensively reflects the country's literary heritage through the development of a multilingual electronic platform and a mobile application based on VR and AR technologies.The study examines both conceptual and practical aspects of the digitalization of literary heritage, focusing on the creation of the "Literary Guide" electronic platform.The paper outlines technological solutions, including the implementation of virtual tours and the integration of marker-based and spatial AR technologies, and identifies key literary landmarksspecifically, the house-museums of prominent writers in Tashkent and Samarkand-covered by the project.The importance of innovative digital tools is emphasized for the promotion of cultural assets, enhancement of tourist experiences, and stimulation of postpandemic development in the tourism sector.The results presented may serve as a foundation for further research and the adoption of similar initiatives in the field of cultural tourism.
