Oligomenorrhea is a symptom of a number of diseases and pathological conditions caused by impaired ovarian function. In adolescence, idiopathic oligomenorrhea can be a predictor of a number of serious disorders and diseases, in particular, premature ovarian failure (POF), which manifests as chronic ovarian failure and potentially leads to early ovarian failure. The aim was to identify the role of pro-inflammatory cytokines in reducing ovarian reserve in adolescents with idiopathic oligomenorrhea.104 adolescent girls with oligomenorrhea were examined, structures of normogonadotropic oligomenorrhea were identified. A group with idiopathic oligomenorrhea was identified (n=17). The influence of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α) on the decrease in ovarian reserve in adolescents with idiopathic oligomenorrhea was revealed. Comparative analysis of the ovarian reserve marker (AMH) showed a significant decrease in patients with idiopathic oligomenorrhea. The IL-6/AMH index has been developed to identify a risk group for a decrease in ovarian reserve among adolescents with oligomenorrhea.
