Aim. To assess the overall of life quality in recipients with urological complications who underwent related renal transplantation.Material and methods. A total of 78 patients were surveyed, the mean age of which was 36.1±9.2 years. There were 58 (74.4%) men and 20 (25.6%) women. The data were collected using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. The mean total score of these patients was 78.2, which can be broken down into four categories, physical domain 82.6, psychological domain 78.0, social domain 81.6, and environmental domain 73.5.Results. The difficulties they could face after RT had no significant impact compared to how grateful they were for the opportunity to prolong life. There was a positive trend between the time elapsed after RT and the life quality indicator, which can be explained by various factors: the use of aggressive immunosuppressants, fear of complications, fear of transplant rejection, etc. in the first year after surgery. Demographic variables such as income, age, location, etc. did not have a significant impact on life quality indicators. Conclusion. The absence of any factors that significantly influence the assessment of the social and environmental components of the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire was shown. At the same time, the only factor affecting the physical and psychological state of the recipients was the period that passed after RT, where there was a tendency to improve the quality of life of patients as the time after RT increased.
