Annotatsiya

The latest epidemiological study conducted in Uzbekistan has revealed that the prevalence of dental caries in permanent teeth among children aged 7–10 years is 71%. The significance of this issue is determined not only by the high prevalence of caries and periodontal diseases but also by their negative impact on children's health and quality of life. Therefore, the prevention of oral diseases in children is one of the most important tasks of modern dentistry. Various measures are implemented to maintain oral health and prevent dental caries, including water fluoridation, the use of fluoride toothpaste, limiting sugar consumption, antimicrobial agents, regular preventive check-ups, and most importantly, maintaining oral hygiene. Preventive measures are a key factor in preserving oral health. Proper and regular oral care helps prevent the development of dental diseases and has a positive impact on children's overall well-being.
