This article explores the social responsibility of business entities, the main signs of social responsibility, the principles of action of social responsibility, the economic essence, the views, opinions of scientists in this regard. The importance of social responsibility in the activities of entrepreneurs, the role of the state in increasing the social responsibility of business entities, the main problems in increasing social responsibility have been studied in detail, and scientifically based conclusions and proposals have been cited as solutions to these problems.
