The organic produce market is developing globally from year to year. The organic produce markets in Kazakhstan and the rest of Central Asia are at different stages of forming and development. Although there are certain achievements in this area, there are various common and local problems, for example, maintaining international standards for organic products, updates on the state of the art of the domestic and regional markets, as well as different approaches to providing of organic agricultural produce and pricing policy. This study is aimed at exploring and reviewing organic agricultural produce in the republics of Central Asia and Kazakhstan, as well as at assessing potentials for developing the regional organic produce market at an account of specific features of the agricultural sector and conceptual approaches of each republic. The paper also suggests a model and an infrastructure for a regional market that will ensure effective functioning of the market across the region and in each of the republics.
