This article examines migration processes in the Republic of Uzbekistan. An in-depth statisticalanalysis is conducted on the number of individuals who entered the country for permanent residence (immigration)and those who left the country (emigration). The article also analyzes, by year, the main destination countries ofcitizens of Uzbekistan who moved abroad for permanent residence. Furthermore, internal migration processeswithin the country are examined at the regional level. Finally, conclusions are presented based on the resultsof the analysis.
