В данной статье предлагается метод решения задач для уравнения третьего порядка эллиптико-гиперболического типа путем сведения к обратным задачам для дифференциального уравнения смешанного типа второго порядка с неизвестными правыми частями. С помощью энергетического тождества для уравнения третьего порядка доказана единственность поставленных задач. Существование решения задачи доказывается методом обратных задач
