The article assessed and compared the glomerular filtration rate using creatinine and cystatin C in patients with renal dysfunction without comorbidities who had COVID-19. The results showed the reliability of cystatin C compared to creatinine in identifying latent renal failure with latent renal dysfunction. Correlation analysis confirmed the high significance of nephrinuria and interleukin-6 in the development of chronic kidney disease.
