Annotatsiya

Patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD) make up a sizable portion of the patients that dental therapists treat. There is a well-established link between heart disease and dental health. Arterial hypertension, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, infective endocarditis, stroke, and cardiac pacemakers are among the common cardiac conditions seen in dentistry offices. Dental therapy is significantly hampered by patients with CVDs. To deliver safe and successful dental treatment, these patients require extra considerations and a thorough understanding of the underlying cardiovascular condition. A suitable change in dental treatment is essential depending on the heart status. Including the patient's cardiologist in a multidisciplinary approach may help to enhance dental treatment outcomes and minimize problems. This review describes the steps to be taken for the best dental care and seeks to reveal the hazards related to the dental management of a cardiac patient.
