This article models the structure of the linear motor windings of a toroidal-core actuator, calculates the optimal electrical parameters of the winding wire and analyses their influence on the practical operating characteristics of the motor design. As a separate part of the research, the cross-sectional area, the current-density ranges and the permissible current values of a conductor with a wire diameter of 2 mm are determined and compared with standard tables. The results make it possible to select the optimal parameters required for stable operation of the motor, for thermal management and for the formation of the maximum electromagnetic force. This work creates a scientific and practical basis for designing toroidal-core actuators and for improving their electromagnetic models, and it also serves to increase the efficiency of their application in high-precision mechatronic systems.
